The SSbD25 Conference will take place at Empa-Akademie, the dedicated conference facility of Empa – Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, located in Dübendorf, Switzerland.
The Akademie is a modern venue designed to host scientific and technical events. It offers a professional and well-equipped environment that reflects Empa’s strong focus on innovation and research excellence.
The centre features flexible conference spaces suitable for both plenary and breakout sessions, along with communal areas that encourage networking and informal discussions.
The venue is located just outside Zurich and is easily accessible by public transport, at approximately 15 minutes from Zurich Stadelhofen and well connected to Zurich Airport.
