VALESOR gathers in Stockholm for three days of collaboration and planning
From April 7 to 9, 2025, the VALESOR consortium met in person at the IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute in Stockholm. The three-day meeting brought together partners from across Europe to discuss the project's progress and outline the next steps in developing the VALESOR tools and models.
The meeting began with a deep dive into model development, focusing on the design, objectives, and technical components of the different versions of the ARP and ARP-Chem models. Discussions focused on aligning the models with user needs effectively and ensuring quality and usability.
On the second day, the VALESOR valuation tool was in focus. Partners presented and tested the current demo version, explored the integration of exposure data, and discussed remaining technical challenges.
The final day was dedicated to the Steering Committee, which reviewed deliverables, discussed communication and dissemination activities, and planned upcoming publications and workshops. Updates were also shared on METEOR cluster activities, where VALESOR plays a leading role.
This in-person meeting marked a productive moment in the project, reinforcing collaboration and setting the course for the next stages of scientific and policy-relevant work.
